eyes matter...
One of the things I quickly noticed was how much I need good prescription wrap-around-style sunglasses to keep wind out my eyes for safety reasons.
(too much wind = blurry vision!).
I ended up at Walmart and got these for an amazing $72! RX lenses alone at the eye doctor are around $100 and that's without a frame yet.
yes...you can see me taking the pic in the reflection of the lenses...
These are Bolle sunglasses that use a cheap RX insert--the insert comes with the sunglassess--you take the insert to an optometrist to be fitted with your RX.
Clear RX lenses for the insert were only $20 + $49 for the actual glasses.
The insert also pops out instantly should I choose to wear the sunglasses with my contacts. Very cool--- I didn't know this kind of option existed!
